I tried Mike’s Old Fashioned Donuts for the first time on the morning of Friday, Oct. 17, 2025, when my wife brought some home for our children, my in-laws, and myself. I tried a sample of a cinnamon donut and a sample of a maple bar. Both were decent but the apple fritter I had was phenomenal. I am talking the best Apple fritter I ever had in my life. Stopped in around 7 a.m. on a Friday to grab two dozen mixed donuts for work — and they had me in and out in about five minutes! Super quick and friendly service. You can watch them making the donuts fresh right in the back, which is pretty awesome. You can also tell it’s a local favorite — the staff were greeting regulars by name, and the whole place had a great vibe. The donuts were fresh, soft, and delicious. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in town!
This donut shop is a gem. The reviews on Mike's donuts were mixed, but decided to stop in. We were picking up a dozen donuts to bring somewhere and we were immediately amazed at the joyous and welcoming atmosphere. I realize there are always going to be those people that are never satisfied, but trust me! This is a friendly happy place.
