Waited for someone to help us for over 5 minutes while the girl behind the counter was visiting with a woman that had paid but wouldn't shut up. Tried to get eye contact but she ignored us so we left. Won't be back so I will take my money elsewhere. Horrible service!

First of all, I would like to say how amazing the girls are that work at these locations. I have never once had a bad experience nor have I ever felt like I was less than. I have gone in alone and with my young ones and always been approached with a smile and great customer service. To the gal with the extremely long winded review, seriously...get a hobby. This is not a 5 star establishment, it is an ice cream shop with high school workers. You need a gold fish in your life.TO the employees at pete and bells: THANK YOU FOR ALWAYS MAKING ME FEEL WELCOME AND EAGER TO RETURN!

Every time I come in here there is like only one other person in front of me and it takes forever. I’ve tried three times now but the service is so slow I won’t be returning ever. Nobody ever says welcome in. Either the girl with the giant eyelashes is too busy flirting with men or the all the employees working get distracted talking to only one person/family. Like one time when I went in with my son to just get a milkshake the girl was too busy at the register looking at pictures of pit bulls. Like really? Can’t you politely say excuse me and come take care of the customer instead of making me wait over 5 minutes for you to finish your conversation?!? Like the guy wasn’t even ordering anything he was just flirting with the girl with giant eyelashes. Why don’t I get the same treatment as a woman customer? It’s so frustrating when you only want to order one thing. I sit there watching employees having these long winded conversations at the register instead of politely saying goodbye or hold that thought I’ll be right back and moving on to the next customer. I get customer service is important but when you don’t get treated the same or equal as men or other families in front of you by the women employees is not good customer service at all. I had the same experience at the store as the man who complained about his family get skipped in line. The owner needs to know that this isn’t just one family complaining. I’m making the same complaints. Melvin has the same complaint I do. It’s maddening to be skipped and then treated like a second rate customer while watching other families get treated way better. He’s not lying I know he’s telling the truth because I experienced the same treatment whenever I have come in and I would also like camera footage to be looked at in my case as well because I’m not lying either. I’m done being treated like trash. I get better treatment from McDonald’s employees. I will never be returning ever. And I’ll make sure to tell everyone I know how bad my experience was here so they don’t get disrespected and treated like trash like I have and they can choose another ice cream shop that will treat them with respect and dignity and equal to the other customers no matter the skin color or gender.

I ordered my wife’s favorite ice cream from there and their customer service was amazing. They shipped it all the way to Florida and got it here without any issues!! Y’all are awesome!! Thank you so much!!
The ice cream here is delicious and we’ve been customers for over 10 years. And before today the staff was always polite and courteous. Today however, my wife who is Hispanic and my two black and Hispanic daughters waited over 20 minutes for service. My 2 and 3 year old girls stood patiently next to their mother at the counter waiting to tell someone what ice cream she wanted. After maybe 15 minutes of waiting their turn they sat at the table by the door as my wife waited patiently at the counter for service. My wife held back tears as she experienced what it feels like to stand at a service counter being ignored while she is skipped in line and the white family behind her is helped with samples. Out of 3 employees on site, no one could help my girls. (Review you footage from 7pm tonight please management) you’ll see that I’m not making this up. I don’t want anything from you. You can’t make it right. I just hope I save someone else from having the same experience. Unfortunately there is more to the story but I feel this is detailed enough for review purposes.
