Don’t waste your time going to Shogun, especially if you are part of a large group that includes children. Tonight we went in with high expectations, hoping for a fun night of birthday celebrations! A reservation was made and something came up that we had to move the reservation by a half hour which we informed the restaurant of. When we taken to our table that’s when everything hit the fan. Our waitress was stressed, confused, and very unprofessional. To the point that the person celebrating her birthday said we weren’t trying to be difficult and that we could leave if it was easier. To which the waitress said yes, for us to leave. The birthday girl went to get her children and was then told that we could stay. That wasn’t the worse part. Our kids were separated and the chef came out, cooked their meals, and we had to sit and wait. They finished their meals and a half our later is when they started our meals. The food was mediocre at best. When it was time to pay, the very rude waitress informed us that we were late to begin with and that we weren’t welcomed back. Not only was this comment made, but she shooed us away with her hand and kept saying for us to just leave. A few of the group still needed to pay, but she kept telling everyone to leave. Even being told they needed to pay she shooed them again. With that we moved to the parking lot to be chased down by the same waitress saying we didn’t pay! If you have a reservation and you know the group is going to be large, perhaps you should plan for that Shogun. Maybe the unpleasant waitress should have asked for help. Whatever needed to happen didn’t. We were all made to feel very uncomfortable and very unwelcome. Not the way we intended to celebrate someone who just wanted a fun night out with her friends and family.

The fish/sushi tasted old. I've had better sushi for $80.00 mabye try the hibachi at this place instead of sushi. Service was okay, not excellent for the meduim to low customers in the place.

We recently celebrated my son's 16th birthday and brought several of his friends. The owners and servers were all wonderful, going out of their way to make sure we had a great meal and dining experience. BJ was hilarious and a very talented cook. He engaged our crew and kept us laughing through the entire meal. The food was excellent beginning with the delicious soup and salad. We ordered steak, chicken, shrimp, salmon, and calamari and all cuts of meat were fantastic in quality, quantity and taste! It was also fun seeing my son dressed up in the Samari Warrior costume and watching the staff sing Happy Birthday. It was an unforgettable evening and I highly recommend Shogun for your next evening or special occasion out!
