We got to the restaurant a little before 6. Then we got seated shortly after and we're not asked what we would like to eat. I had to ask the hostess to get someone to take our order. They did not come until 6:30. We got our sushi 30 min after we ordered and then our entrees came over 45 min later. The Dish guy came to our table more than the waitress. He was good. The sushi was mid tier and the Yakisoba was very good. Overall, I do not recommend this restaurant.
1st time going to Toro. Was not what I was expecting but I was pleased with the atmosphere. Very laid back and calm. The food was delish I had a Rainbow roll and a Las Vegas and both were very delish. My friend had 1 roll which was Tempura and she loved it. She also ordered the chow mein and it definitely could be split between two people it was a good sized helping. I recently dined at Toro and enjoyed the wonderful sushi and prompt service. The server was friendly and helpful. However, I witnessed an incident where either the manager or head chef berated the servers loudly in the open area and in front of a full restaurant. This is an unacceptable way to treat staff and created a very uncomfortable atmosphere for diners. While I've had great experiences here before, the way staff are treated is a major concern.
