I ? absolutely love Azteca. It's my GO To Mexican restaurant. The service here is always really good, almost never a wait time and the food comes Quickly! My main dish is the "Dose Amigos" it a ginormous Bonito but split into 2 sides with completely different fillings and seasoning on each half! Sooo Frickin Good!
We went late on a Saturday afternoon and the bar was packed. We found an empty booth and Jake H. greeted us right away to get our drink orders. He was awesome. He brought us chips and salsa right away and our beers. We had a corona and ipa. He was busy with the rest of the customers as well, but always checked back with us to see if we needed anything. The food was not great. Our son's kids nachos were the best thing we ordered. They had a shredded chicken on them. I had the tortilla soup, chicken was rubbery and tasted like precooked frozen chicken. It was nearly inedible. My husband had a burrito with the same chicken in it. Probably won't be back.
