Derailer Coffee is a cool place in Hillyard, possibly the best in Spokane. The whole building is several shops wrapped into one, featuring a brewery and coffee shop on the main level and a toys & vintage store upstairs. The atmosphere is gorgeous and perfect for a meeting spot, with space for large groups. The staff is super friendly and very knowledgeable.

They serve excellent coffee made with locally roasted beans, including real coffee like from Italy and decaf espresso options. Drinks are deliciously crafted with pure artistry, such as a unique, sweet, savory, and filling miso coffee. They also have great teas and a chai latte, plus a long list of house-made syrups. Pastries are available. The business is passionate about supporting the local community, with even their cups handmade by a local potter. Parking is free and easy on the street.
