I stopped by Madeleine’s Cafe & Patisserie, a French style restaurant while visiting downtown Spokane. Kinda having mixed feelings about this place. Let's talk about great things first. 1. Very comforting and cozy atmosphere. Sure this is a place you would love to stay for a while. Also it was busy when I went, but the staff were still very friendly and attentive, which I appreciated.

Earl Grey Crème Brûlée. Who knew?
Our iced coffees in to-go cups were watery in texture and flavor on their get-go. Going off of their available foods, being a café was a higher priority than being a bakery. Attentive counter folk to us wandering folk.

The baristas were nice and the food was tasty. We got a simple drip coffee, avocado toast, and a breakfast sandwich. All was beautifully presented and tasted fantastic! Would recommend stopping in if you are in the area. You won’t be disappointed!
