Could improve by taking some cooking classes. Food is nothing special. 👎
We have been going to Ponderosa for years and was our favorite local restaurant, up until recently with the management change. Service has gone downhill and even worse the food has turned to garbage. We keep coming back to ‘give them another chance’ but we’re done. It’s very unfortunate that new management has ruined such a great restaurant. Went to the bar to order a couple of drinks and only got my shot and the check. I’ve tried to come back again and give them another chance but the service remained terrible. They didn’t even bring a water or a menu. I wouldn’t go back to this restaurant if it was the last one on earth.

Located at Ponderosa, The Pond Bar & Grill offers a great environment and terrific waitstaff. Food is always top notch, outstanding, plentiful, and delicious. The Southwest Eggrolls are a must-try. The cheese curds are the best in a long time. Saturday has 2 burgers for $25, a super good deal with good quality. Taco Tuesday is amazing, with $3-5 per taco; the fish taco was fantastic. This family restaurant is a great place for special occasions. The owner is sweet, and the staff and bartender are very friendly. A great value for what is had, guests thoroughly enjoy it and will definitely be back.
