Best Machiato I have ever had
Quaint little shops in a open, market type setting. Very cozy, inviting atmosphere. Great setting all year round.
Every time I come to Spokane, I have to visit Saranac Commons .. The Common Crumb is very near and dear to my heart not just because my cousin Kate and her husband Jeremy own it but because of their passion for their baking and cooking with high quality and natural ingredients. I visited the Biscuit Wizard for the first time yesterday and it had to be the best biscuit and gravy I have ever had!! This will continue to be on my high priority stops when I am visiting Spokane from...read full review

Saranac Commons is a unique eating destination that offers a variety of food and beverage options under one roof. The setting is open and cozy, making it a great spot to hang out with friends or by oneself. The menu features delicious options like Peace Pie Pizza, Black Label Brewing Company's pilsner and Marzen beers, and salads from Boots Bakery, known for its amazing vegan and gluten-free dishes. The Thai Rice Bowl is especially popular, being very GF/DF/vegetarian/Vegan friendly, with many options including mac & cheese. Freshly baked scones and superb coffee from Hatch beaker & burr add to the delightful experience. The food is hearty enough that many customers find themselves stuffed, often needing boxes to take leftovers home. The sandwiches, like the chicken caprese, are large and well-structured, with tender chicken and big, fresh bread. Customers also enjoy the pizza, especially when a fresh pie comes out of the oven, with $5 slices available on Tuesday. The atmosphere is welcoming, with comfortable seating and friendly staff, making Saranac Commons an ideal spot for a work-from-home day, a relaxing break, or a Sunday breakfast. It is especially recommended for visitors coming from out of town, as it offers something for everyone and is a reliable choice with consistent hours.
