Excellent service, and very fresh sushi that is expertly prepared. I highly recommend the poke salad and the John tacos...Spokane roll is also a favorite. This is becoming a regular stop for us.
The taste of food was decent, leaning more toward fusion cuisine rather than authentic Japanese food like what you’d find in Japan. The sashimi was reasonably fresh. The restaurant was fairly busy, but the wait wasn’t too long and there was no need to make a reservation in advance. The staff provided good service👍🏻

My go to's; Miso Sea Bass (Delicious), Baked lobster Roll (must try, the best I have ever had), and the Hawaii Roll.
We added General Tso's Chicken was amazing and they did not skimp on portion size.
I highly recommend Umi north if you are in the mood for good food, flavor, and service.
