My mother and I went to celebrate my birthday, I'm in my 60s her in 80s. We hadn't been before and had questions about the dishes..the waitress was impatient, rude and dismissive. She actually just pointed to pictures of their food that was plastered all over walls in response to our questions. I didn't realize you needed to get up and go find a picture of the dish you wanted to find out what exactly was in it?? She actually just threw up her hands and did an eyeroll! My mother and I decided to leave because we did not want to put up with that attitude thru out our whole dining experience. I've never walked out from a restaurant after sitting down, but this was too much. I'm very glad we did tho, we went to Happy Teriyaki and had amazing service and food! We will definitely go to Happy Teriyaki in the future, it was a great experience đ. By the way this was Friday about 130, in case the management wants to know who the waitress was, I would love to see them improve the service so stanwood keeps all the great restaurants!
The woman here is extremely rude. We placed our order and sat listening to her talk down to an elderly woman who asked questions about the menu and items. Then she was rude to a gentleman who was making a to go order. We were so disgusted by her behavior we left before our food came. The other ladies also left after they'd placed theirs. We'll never bring our business here again. Terrible, terrible. That woman should be ashamed of herself.
The food was delicious đ
Placed an order and communicated that the customer service was not the best. We got a call back from a women and she started yelling at us on the phone about our review. No follow up on how to make it better, no recourse just aggression. This is obviously not the first time this has happened from reading the other reviews. DO NOT EAT HERE.
Soup was lukewarm food, and it took a while to get out. Should have known better when no one was in the restaurant. First Chinese restaurant i have been to where they don't serve hot tea.
The mapo tofu spice level 4 was so good! Paired it with their egg fried rice. The service was quick and the food was delicious and flavorful.
I really enjoy when I can leave a good review. Unfortunately, this is not that kind of situation. Looking through the reviews, it seems as though the only honest ones are the one and two stars. I placed an online order for carry out for only some wonton soup. The soonest available time to pick up was 1130 and when my husband got there to pick it up, he was nine minutes early. when she âgreetedâ him, he let her know he was there for an online order and she became extremely rude to him lecturing him how his online order was for 1130 pick up time and just turned and walked away. He wasnât in a hurry and was willing to wait as he knew pick up time was technically, 1130, but as it was only wonton soup, thought maybe it would be ready early, no big deal if it wasnât. He said there was not a single soul in that building.
After he shared his experience with me, I called to try to speak with whoever was in charge just to let them know our experience, especially as first time customers. As soon as I asked for a manager, the lady pretended to not know what I was saying and just kept asking over and over again if I was placing an order to go or pick up. When I asked her if She could understand what I was saying, she told me âyes I can understand you just fine and you can speak to me if you want to talk to somebody.â when I realized she was refusing to let me talk to anybody else, I talked to her about the experience as a first time customer and how she didnât need to be rude. She started yelling into the phone, lecturing me as well about the 1130 pick up time and I tried to explain to her He was OK with that and was just a little bit early and just letting her know why he was there.
I really wish I wouldâve looked at the reviews before trying this place.
Not only is the customer service severely lacking, the soup had zero flavor, Iâm mean none. The broth looks like itâs just water that is murky. The pork inside ever so slightly had a tiny taste of ginger and tasted sour. I will leave another review if I get sick from it because it is almost rancid tasting. I was really hoping that at least the food would make up for the horrible treatment.
I left them a 15% tip on a to go order where they werenât even servicing us and really wish I could get that money back. I really advise anybody looking into ordering or dining out here to really take the good reviews with a grain of salt. Save your money and go to the Dragon Palace as their service is always amazing and the food is delicious. The only reason why we didnât go to them this time was because they were not open until 4:00. Never, ever again!
Favorite Chinese restaurant around!
I Come here often with family.
Great place to meet for lunch.
Great costumer service and tasty food đ€
I don't remember the name of my meal. It was chicken, vegetables in a wine sauce. It was fabulous. My wife had beef broccoli and she loved it. We will definitely be back.

Haven't had such horrible Chinese food on a long time. We were only dine in couple for lunch. Service was extremely slow & server had no personality at all. Ordered almond chicken lunch special. Asked that sauce for the chicken and the sweet & sour chicken be on the side, not on the food. Gravy was in a separate bowl but sweet & sour sauce was not. Sauce was all over everything. Appetizer was drenched in sauce. Almond chicken was over cooked & dry & crusty. Gravy was salty & tasted horrible. Fried rice had no flavor at all. Server didn't check on how things were going & we had to chase her down in to the kitchen for our check to leave. This was the worst Chinese food we have had in a long time and advise you stay away, go elsewhere for lunch. This was the 2nd time there & it was almost as bad as our 1st visit. Horrible!!!
