The wait time wasn't too long and the food was really good. Really my only gripe is that we wanted to sit outside and they put us in the direct sunlight. The umbrella over the table didn't do anything to stop the sun so I was pouring sweat trying to eat rather than enjoying myself.
Parking: The parking lot requires a $5 cash only payment in a somewhat archaic box at the front of the lot.
Kid-friendliness: Our daughter loved the grilled cheese
Wheelchair accessibility: I didn't see any elevator so I'm pretty sure since this is on the second floor of a building there's no wheelchair access

THE VIEW! Great service, great beers, great food. Could be at a better price point for what you’re getting, but I’d go back time and time again. Not breathtaking dishes, but the view accompanied with the beer are.

The owner set me up good. At first I wanted to eat inside but I decided to wait for a outside table and the wait was 25 minutes. He said I could wait down in the wine room they just opened. Little did I know it was exactly the atmosphere and the food I was looking for so I decided to settle there and they had the best clams and beer I've tasted in awhile. That wine room is a great ideal! I'm definitely going back.

Service was very slow and poor. Waitresses more interested in who could wear the shortest shorts. two of the tables next to us were constantly using f**k every other word even though there were numerous small children. Very uncomfortable. Areas should be reserved for adults only. View is beautiful but even with that food is way overpriced. $20 for Mac and cheese and $25 for fish & chips. Just not for me or my family.

A pretty view, a laid back NW vibe, good drinks and decent food. My Moscow Mule was spot on. My fish and chips...a popular item here... were okay. The batter was more NW style than a beer batter - which is to say a thinner batter sticking closer to the fish. It was a bit greasy and aggressively salted. The chowder was stodgy, a spoon could almost stand in it... So that was the biggest disappointment. However, the staff was lovely... Very friendly and the star, the draw, is the view... Which I cannot criticize in any way.

Ok so, this owner is a hire and then fire manager!!! Don't work for this guy!! John!! Is his name... he doesn't even know the first thing about food quality... I've been in the food Industry for 23 years.. talk about to many steps to make a plate.. most of you would want a fish and chip or a burger from a street side place and not have to wait 30 min?? Right?? Well not ganna get that there... always a 45 min wait time to even to be seated. Food is... alright.. but not worth the amount your going to pay. I have friends in the industry aswell and they'd laugh at the plate that come out after waiting so long. I got pulled into the walk in and yelled at because the owner thought "are you stoned??" I said no... but he decided it was a good idea to reprimand me!! No good...not good... the owner doesn't make your food by the way..it's the team members that suffer under a person who thinks he is God. I left because I got told and yelled at because I was "smoking weed" when I don't smoke weed...so there ya go.. eat there or don't.. I hope you dont..

Tonight I attended an impromptu dinner with some friends. I’ve been to Topside before and received great service, but I was disappointed this time around. Our server was less than great. We did not receive any silverware even after asking for some. Our food and drink refills were brought to us by someone other than our server. When I asked for a menu for dessert I was told there wasn’t much of a selection and she could tell me what the desserts were without having to look at the menu. Based on what I was told, I decided to order the brownie to go. Once I got home, I saw that it had walnuts in it and had to discard it due to me being highly allergic to tree nuts. If I received a menu like I originally requested, I could have avoided it, and ultimately saved some money. My suggestion is for people to be kind to others and pay attention to what someone has asked for as it can save a life or cause life threatening consequences due to someone’s carelessness. Please take the time to read this and be mindful of what you’re ordering if you have any dietary restrictions.
