The food here is outstanding. Our server was outstanding. I know this is probably more of a local place than a tourist destination , but our families came here to get away from the Skamania Lodge restaurant and have a decent meal. And this place did not disappoint! The fish and chips were amazing with a very light but crunchy batter on the fish. We got more french fries than we could possibly eat. The onion rings were very very good and not overly oily. I have never had such robust jalapeno poppers in my life as they are covered in all kinds of cheese and meat. They could be a meal on their own. The burgers were good for the kids as they all gobbled them down. And the small flatbread pizzas are actually really good as they aren't too big and they taste great. If you are a fan of Bloody Maries, I highly suggest trying their Bloody Mary. It is a meal in itself. I don't believe I've seen so much stuff attached to a beverage in my life! And as much as I am not a fan of loud live music in a small venue, we were able to dodge the live band and have our meal before they started playing. Tip these folks well... They are worth it!

Great spot right on the river! Enjoyed sitting on their covered patio even in a rainy day. Good local beer selection and delicious salmon chowder! We got the charcuterie platter and it came with 5 pounds of cheese!

We came here on the recommendation of some locals, and we are glad we did. Sort of. We happened to be there on a night with live music and incredible weather. Perfect way to spend the evening.It quickly became packed, and rightly so. Food was great, and the music was good too.The only downside was the service. Not sure if they were short handed, or understaffed. But our waitress was all over the place, and eventually just stopped being seen. We sat for about 30 minutes waiting for our check, asking every server that we could find. Finally someone brought us our check. Bad on us for not checking the details, as we simply handed the server our card, since we were tired of waiting to get the check.When she came back with the receipt to sign, we realized it was the wrong bill, we had already been charged, and by then, that server had disappeared too. We found a gentleman that seemed like he might be a manager, so we tried to tell him what happened.He passed us off to someone else, who couldn't help. We finally got ahold of the bar manager, and tried to explain to her. She figured it out, credited us back for the wrong order and charged us for the correct bill.She apologized for the issue and said that things were crazy tonight, and not normally like this, and was sorry that our first visit was such a mess.We ended up nearly an hour past when we planned on leaving, due to the delays. Thank goodness for some good music to pass the time!All in all, the food was great, location was great, atmosphere was lovely. But the service was awful.Next time I am up that way, I hope I can give this place another chance. Hopefully they get their service figured out and are able to process their patrons in a more accurate and efficient manner.

Came here in a windy and a bit cold day. We sat in the outside patio. It is right on the river and view is unbeatable. And yes it is winter Columbia Gorge where you expect to see the high wind. The restaurant tried to keep guest comfy by providing patio cover and heaters.The service was a bit slow due to lack of servers (apparently). Food was ok. Nothing specially but typical American foods. Pricewise, it is about $20-$30 with tip included.Free parking.
