I live kinda close by and stopped in for a late lunch. My needs were taken care of right away.
I say this is the place for Mexican food and atmosphere in Sultan. The Cook was happy to accommodate my request, so as a local I recommend Ixtapa Sultan is the place to visit.

“Our new go to place when crossing the pass. Stopped here on the way up to Leavenworth to get a quick bite. Went in not thinking anything special. We were promptly greeted by host/waiter who was extremely friendly/personable ordered drinks and enjoyed the atmosphere. Drinks came, ordered food and didn’t have to wait long to start munching down. Everything was seasoned good, the sauces that coated the proteins were spot on, had distinct flavor, but wasn’t overbearing. Especially enjoyed the corn app and the homemade chips and table salsa from the get go. Definitely beat any expectations we had rollin’ in so much so that 3 days later we had to hit them up again on the way back home. The menu isn’t full of crazy options, but everything we had was on point. Highly recommend, amazing staff and incredible food. Salud.“
