“Taco time is so much better than the other guys in my opinion!

I’m a picky vegetarian with GI issues and several sensitivities which limit my options for fast food (let alone just trying to find quality fast food). I almost never eat out — partly because I’m a picky eater, and partly because most places leave me feeling weighed down or give me stomach aches. But Taco Time has been such a pleasant surprise! The quality of the food is consistently fresh and flavorful, and I actually feel good after eating here.

Even without a mock meat option yet (which I hope they’ll add in the future along with other veggie options), there are still plenty of vegetarian-friendly choices like crisp bean burritos, veggie tacos, bowls, and salads with fresh salsa and guacamole, etc. The portions are decent for the quality and price, and you really taste the difference in the ingredients compared to typical fast food.

The staff here are always friendly and efficient — my order is ready quickly, and they get it right every time. For a quick-service healthy spot, Taco Time really stands out in terms of quality, freshness, and customer care. It’s one of the only fast food places I actually trust.

“Came here on a whim to pick up a burrito bowl that would (hopefully) last 2-3 meals, and i asked for double carne asada. Not only did the lovely employee give me a very reasonable serving the FIRST time, but she was quick and polite as well. i was so impressed by the quality of food for the money i paid. i’ll definitely come back soon!“

“Taco is the star on this truck! All their meets are as what you would expect for a solid good taco, especially their carnitas. There burritos are average and the size is average. This truck is NOT cheap, but on par with what washington taxes and inflation has made people charge.

“We ordered a full taco bar with chips and salsa for a 100+ person FIFA World Cup watch party on the Microsoft campus for the Mexico vs. South Africa game, and it was a massive hit! Despite the large portions, the food completely vanished—everyone absolutely loved it. I also really appreciated the level of service provided by the owner, Cesar. He worked seamlessly with us to accommodate our shifting headcount and approved budget, making this a flawless and successful takeout catering experience. Highly recommend!“

“First our waitress was to much in a hurry taking our order. Then brings us wrong food. When food arrives we sit and have no utensils. Had to ask a whole different waiter for service. Forgot several items and had to wait longer. The food was not good , I took one taste and ended up going to the bathroom to throw up. Either they had a major change or just was a bad day. Cuz I remember having a good meal a few years back when they opened.“

“I have only been here two times as I moved to the area right before the government stole the freedom of Americans to move about freely... that being said, this visit - IN PERSON - was excellent! Matt, the bartender answered several questions and made a couple suggestions. I went with one of them (Carnitas and Scratch Margarita) and was pleasantly impressed with both! The crowd was fun, the staff was doing an excellent job (having been in the industry for 24 years myself) taking care of the business and caring for the clients. Thank you and I WILL be back again!“

“One of the best places you can go. The hours change because of it is not getting enough business on 8th they can't afford to have the second truck there.

If you have never stopped by, I can assure you that the quality of the food, the customer service, it's truly the best around. And you get to support a local family operated business. My favorite is the the burrito. They are packed completely full and are so delicious. I live way up north now, but still come down an hour to eat here. It's my favorite. “My favorite taco spot in renton!
The meat is high quality and the flavor is so good!
Tacos are average price , and honestly a bit cheaper than other places. The horchata is the best one i’ve had in my whole life! Definitely give it a try!
My favorite dishes are asada or lengua tacos, as well as a pizza birria, it is perfect to share with your group (abt 3 ppl)!
I like how they now have a condiment bar, i enjoy getting extra lime lol.
The service is also very friendly. The food also comes out fast but beware that weekends are insanely busy so sometimes there is a line or some tables will be filled :)
I recommend calling beforehand or online ordering to go food since it comes out faster too!“

“This is sort of a dive bar. Lots of TVs so a great place to come to watch a game. You can sit at tables, booths ane at the bar. The food is actually really good for a place like this. And of course plenty of options to get drinks both alcohol and non. One of my favorite lunch places.“

“I am very upset because I work for the owner of the restaurant, Mr. Jose, doing all the branding (menu, banners, social media, photography, website) and he owes me for a year and he no longer wants to pay me. I talk to him and he hangs up the phone.
