“There were four of us for lunch. The atmosphere is Italian and casual. Unfortunately, the background .music is not in the background, making it difficult to talk. I asked the staff to turn down the music, and they did a bit, but loud music is the norm here.
I ordered the Mistra salad, and it was good. However, the housemate dress was BAD. Seemed to be almost exclusively olive oil. They did bring a ranch, which was fine. I paid an extra $6,50 for a small chicken breast, which had good flavor but was pretty dry.
My wife had tomato basil soup and 1/2 turkey panini. She said her food was very good. The servers were excellent and a bright spot in lunch.
We will probably come again at some point.“

“I can't say enough good things about Modoo Teriyaki in Sumner! This place has quickly become my favorite spot for chicken teriyaki. The flavors are absolutely amazing, and the chicken is always cooked to perfection—juicy and tender every time.
The teriyaki sauce is the best I've ever had, with just the right balance of sweetness and savory goodness. The portion sizes are generous, making it a fantastic value for such high-quality food. The staff is friendly and attentive, creating a welcoming atmosphere that makes you want to come back again and again.
If you're in the area and craving some delicious teriyaki, Modoo is the place to go! Five stars without a doubt!“

“The only downside of this place is the qr code for ordering. Anytime iave used it . I either got the completely wrong drink I ordered. Or the server didn't know it went thru . Obviously some kinks to work out still a new place . Great food and good customer service. ? FYI I do know how to use a q.r. code haha“

“Made a mistake and thought they were open until 10pm like the Puyallup location and ended up arriving 10 mins before close.
Felt horrible and offered to leave but everyone was very nice and said it'd be alright even though we were there until after close. Pizza and wings were delicious, big shout out to the closing staff.“

“We found Aversano's during COVID times and haven't gone anywhere else locally for Italian fare since. We love them - the food is always good and there is always lots of it. We love picking up and eating in the comfort of our home however, we enjoy going in as the the feel of the restaurant is like being at home!“

“I have been looking for a place that makes orange chicken that has actual oranges in it and taste like orange. Man o' man did this place surprise me. Food was freshly made and quick. Everything tasted like it was hand made, some restaurants you can tell if the food is frozen or has been prepped days ahead. Not only was the food and service amazing but the lunch specials were extremely affordable for the price food has been raising lately. 10.95 for my protein, rice, and soup. I will definitely be coming back soon.“

“My husband and I visited this place two days ago. The hostess Macy, whose family owns this business was simply adorable and an absolute joy. She assisted with recommendations and told family stories. The cowboy beans and brisket were excellent, we will definitely return and recommend. ~The Williams Family“
