We came 7/4 about 1045am to get coffee ☕ and decided we also wanted a cookie. There were 2 choices the standard Chocolate Chip and an everything cookie to the left as you faced the counter. It was quite busy and loud. So I asked for 2 of the cookies on the far left of the counter. I even indicated with my left hand pointing in that direction. I walk here every morning for a 3.5 mile round trip. I arrived 20 minutes early on Saturday since they open one hour later on weekends. So, I sat down outside to wait for the opening. A few moments later, one of the ladies came out and handed me what I would have ordered. Blew me away! What kindness. Thank you.
I moved away from WA 10 years ago, but it's always special to come back home and Anthem is always on my list. There's something about a WA cup of coffee, and the hospitality of the baristas.
