A great place for properly prepared coffee, kind baristas, and friendly neighborhood folk. I often bring my clients here to enjoy a cup and chat about business. Their nitro oat milk latte on tap is fantastic, but my favorite is the La Pistola, think slightly spicy mexican chocolate mocha.... yumm! Drop on by and make some friends.
Every now and then, I need to get a bag of beans in between my only orders. Blueberry is my local choice. The one on 6th Avenue has a nice environment. It is a little expensive, a 16 once cup is about $7 now, as of early 2026.
The quality of beans is good. If I were younger and more social, I could see myself relaxing there more often.

The high ceilings, exposed beams, eye catching spresso machine and earthy atmosphere gives the Tacoma vibes.
Fun fact: They roast their own small-batch coffee right here in the city.
Opened in 2011, Bluebeard has grown into two beautiful locations. Definitely worth checking out next time you're in town!
