I have tried boba shops, chain and independently owned, up and down the I-5 corridor, from Woodinville to Portland. I have a very good sense of taste/smell and all too often detect a bitter aftertaste in boba milk teas. I would rank this shop at 3rd place amongst all that I've tried. No bitter aftertaste! Perfect sweetness level. Only outdone by two shops, in my opinion, because the dairy product they use doesn't have that perfect creamy taste. All in all, pretty good! Will return whenever I am in the area. Service was friendly and SUPER fast! In and out of the shop in under 5 minutes total. Faster than most places with drive-through service.

BobaLust in Tacoma is one of my favorite Boba joints in Washington. My go-to order is the OG Milk Tea Boba. It’s always perfectly made and delicious!BobaLust has 9 Washington locations. I have visited both of the Tacoma locations. I was especially happy to discover this newest location near the Tacoma Mall because it’s much easier to get to than the downtown location, and it has free parking.Highly Recommended!!!

Spontaneously stopped here with my fiancee and I have to say it did not disappoint. As soon as we walked in it was a cool vibe with music playing. The variety of flavors is decent although we would prefer a coconut option but the black sugar milk tea was pretty good.

Spontaneously stopped by after eating in the area while on a trip. The workers were so welcoming, kind, and attentive! I got a wintermelon milk tea and was genuinely surprised by the flavor in a good way! Nice strong wintermelon flavor that wasn't diluted with milk. Unique menu with interesting combinations to explore!
BobaLust is our go-to spot for boba in Tacoma. It's located in a nice area, close to shopping and has a large parking lot adjacent. We have yet to find a drink we haven't liked. From the chamoy-mango slushee to the taro milk tea, it is all delicious. If it sounds good to you, most likely you'll love it. The interior has limited seating. It's not a great place to come and study, etc, because of that. They could definitely re-structure dead space and make it more friendly to guests staying, but maybe their business model doesn't work like that! We love BobaLust. :)

This boba is the closest to what I used to get back in Florida! I’ve been looking for a place like this. I will definitely be asking for light-no ice next time because I felt like my drink was gone after 4 big gulps.

Even though they have a blender they will only serve certain drinks blended.My go to is a blended Thai tea with boboa bubble but they refused to do it. So I left and said ok no thanks then.
