We have a ritual of stopping by for bbq each time we head near Tacoma. One of the oldest establishments in Washington. You know it's good when the smoker is real. All of the meats, sides and desserts for a good ole' southern style plate. Everyone is great. You are in treat if Miss Kate is there to greet you and talk stories.

I wasnt expecting much coming into this, but when I tell you that this was the best barbecue ive ever had, that isnt a exaggeration. From the outside it doesn’t look the best but inside it is clean with places to sit and order. The food was delicious and the peach cobbler was the best I’ve ever had, amazing sweet tea too. Overall this place was amazing!

The food and service were absolutely amazing! Very flavorful, especially the beans. The Mac and cheese was very good, so was the BBQ brisket, sausage, and ribs. I highly recommended this restaurant if you’ve never been.
