My husband and I have been eating at Nordstrom's Cafe for years. The food is always great and service is usually good. We feel the quality of the food and the clean, updated interior warrants the higher food prices. However, after shopping the Anniversary sale my husband and I went to lunch at Nordstrom's and we both were disappointed that the Cafe is now using paper napkins and not cloth napkins. My girlfriend and I had a lovely brunch date Sunday. While I find it odd to order at the cashier's as I come in, only to be served and able to order more once at my table... Our server was lovely, friendly and checked our coffee all the time.
My shakshuka was great... Served on a bed of Israeli couscous. My friend's waffle won raves and we shared a delicious brownie sundae.
Looking forward to returning soon for more treats and chat and shopping

Had a really nice late afternoon lunch while finishing our Christmas shopping last week. Food was very good, though the process of ordering and paying at the counter kind of undercuts the experience of a leisurely, top tier lunch. Service was very good and the food quality was excellent. French dip sandwich, turkey sandwich and salmon were all superb, and it was a very nice lunch!
