The service was good & the ice coffee was delicious! I was feeling adventurous today, and wanted to try something new, so I ordered the spicy beef noodle/Bun Bo Hue... it wasn't for me, I couldn't finish it. I think next time I'll order something I do know like a Banh mi.

If you take a look at my collections, I have made it my mission to rate every Bahn Mi restaurant in Tacoma. I've done almost 20 now. And I'll be straight up this is the best I've gone to. The service, sauces, freshness of the bread and veggies, and portion of meat all contribute to this. Cafe La Vie keeps it trill and y'all know I'll be coming back. 5 stars.

Sandwiches and Vietnamese coffee is top tier. Inside you'll find the inside filled with families inside and outside (if the weather permits) enjoying each other's company over great food. Service is great. Straight to the point.

They are used to having Thai customers, so I got a few strange looks when I ordered coffee and sat down in the cafe to drink it. Their coffee is so good. Perfect sweetness and cream levels. About halfway through I ordered a Rice plate to go. The food was amazing. All I gotta say is you going to La Vie? Take me!

Food It's ok just that can be done more better. Broth of the soup are tasty and great . Bahn mi is so so and the coffee and bubble tea are ok but not that good compare to the price and taste on other places. Service Not 5 but 10 stars excellent Ambiance Great and love that they sell lotto tickets !

Came Sunday morning and felt like I was back in Vietnam: boisterous men sitting around drinking coffee, tea, smoking and picking their teeth.Ordered the rice soup, containing pork intestine, stomach, tongue and blood cake and a side of fried bread to dip. Comforting, delicious and filling.
