We had a late lunch at Chez Lafayette. We ate from the happy hour, lunch, and main menus. The happy hour oysters on the half she'll with herb and ginger mignonette sauce were delicious. My husband had the fried green tomato BLT with Cajun garlic fries. He enjoyed his sandwich. The fries were perfect and not too garlicy. beautifully breaded fried green tomatoes and a lovely server. She was very attentive, friendly (offered me a window dining solo), and had great recommendations for me as this was my first time here.
