The staff was friendly, but not as attentive as one might hope at a dine in restaurant. The food had a great presentation, but both the Gumbo and Crawfish Etoufee had a bitter burnt tomato taste that I could not get past. The Cajun Deviled Eggs were amazing though and I would definitely recommend. I would like to try the restaurant out again, but try different menu items.
Chez Lafayette has quickly become one of our favorite spots! From the moment we walked in, the cozy atmosphere set the tone for a great evening… warm lighting, comfortable seating, and just the right amount of ambiance. The service was solid throughout; our server was attentive without being intrusive and made great recommendations. We went during happy hour and decided to try several different appetizers, and honestly, we loved every single one. The food was delicious...
10/10, would highly recommend! My wife and I had a group of 17 guests for a large dinner party after our small local wedding ceremony, and everyone at Chez Lafayette was absolutely amazing. The food was incredible (to the point where it seems like you could order anything off the menu and it would be delicious). The steak frites were especially amazing.
