The restaurant decor and atmosphere rivals a typical Parisian café. The crispy duck confit udon explodes with the perfect blend of spices. The chicken cordon bleu brings together tradition with remarkable flavor enhancements. It is well worth spending a bit more for an authentic French experience.
Salmon was amazing. The filet mignon perfect dessert exquisite

Edit: rather than taking accountability for someone's dining experience, the business has chosen to write back with sarcasm and an attitude. So I'm removing a star. This is the state of Washington so it being May has no bearing on whether a place will be cold or not. Something may be listed on the menu, but that doesn't necessarily mean that it was tasty. I don't know what the business dynamic is of this place, but if the servers are cooking as well as doing the waitressing, then perhaps letting folks know that there might be a wait would be wise. My server was very nice. And I never denied that. But to come right out and get defensive because somebody had an experience that wasn't amazing is just not a great business practice. I would have been perfectly fine with a response that said sorry you had a bad experience. Or even no response at all rather than the one that was left. I'm glad that other patrons enjoy their experience. But that doesn't mean that every customer will.
This was on my list of places to try due to the reviews. Unfortunately, I was quite disappointed. For starters, the restaurant was extremely cold to the point where I could not enjoy my meal. When I arrived, I was the only person there. A few more people joined the dining room but it was very slow during the time I was there. You would think that service would be attentive because of this, however, service was quite slow. I appreciate that the server tried to give me some time to finish my food. But even after I was done eating, I waited quite some time before she even came back to check on me. I didn't understand that since there was only two other couples plus myself. The food was subpar and definitely was not worth the price. As someone who has tried cuisine from all over the world, I honestly was hoping this was better than it was. The plate looked beautiful but the taste was lacking. I had the chicken cordon bleu. Instead of having the Dijon on the inside, there was some sort of brown sauce that my whole chicken was doused in. The problem with the sauce is that even though you could still taste the Dijon, the sauce was surprisingly oversweet. Because of this, I could not taste the ham nor the gruyere inside the chicken even though I could see they were present. I tried the bread pudding with the coffee ice cream for dessert. The bread pudding was baked well but what ruined it was the very bitter pieces of chocolate. Bread pudding is not naturally super sweet so adding the bitter chocolate only enhanced the bitterness and the dessert was hardly tolerable. Had it not been for the ice cream and whipped cream on top, I don't think I would have been able to eat part that I did.
Needless to say, I will not be going back. I cannot fathom spending another $50 for a meal like this in a room that was so extremely cold.

First time eating here and the food was fantastic. I’ve never had French Onion Soup spiced this was before. The Wienerschnitzel was the absolute highlight. I felt like I was back in Köln. The breading was crisp, the sauce so savory, and the pork flavorful as even. The next time I eat here cannot come soon enough.

Hi Lisa, thank you so much for the thoughtful response! I’ve actually sent a custom demo website over to your email last Friday—I wanted to make sure it reached you safely as I’d love to get your thoughts on the new look I mocked up for Citron. Looking forward to connecting!

The rating is what pulled me in, but in my opinion it was just okay. I appreciated the cleanliness of the place, but the ambiance and vibe were average. The food did not match the prices in my opinion. While the food was not bad but not great. The wienerschnitzel okay, but gravy and the cucumber salad were better. The overall quality and taste was just alright. Service was okay too.

What a wonderful place to enjoy delicious and Devine European cuisine! We loved the authenticity of the dishes from the pierogis to the fresh bread and soups, so yummy. We celebrated my Mom’s bday here with our family party of 12 and the staff was excellent and attended to our every wish. Each dish was lovingly prepared and the service with Dori was just excellent. Thank you for making my Mom’s celebration special and smooth. We’ll be back for more and we’ll bring our friends next time.

We left before placing an order. Another customer told us they waited over an hour to be served. We didn't have time to wait that long.

I have been coming here since the new owner took over and its a delight. The server is knowledgable and friendly. The atmosphere & the music makes me feel like im on a little European vusit. I've tried most things on the menu and they all slap.
Bonus! The server let me try a little sample of each wine.
We happened to come on the weekend that they did not have a liquor license in effect so we could not order wine. It took more than 30 minutes for our appetizers to come out. The food was decent, my partner and I agreed that it was not exceptional nor anything to write home about. I found my food to be too salty. At least we saved money by not being able to purchase alcoholic beverages. We will not be returning.

Had a lovely time eating delicious weinerschnitzel and some dessert of bread pudding with coffee ice cream to end a wonderful eating experience! The restaurant was very clean, excellent service and good vibes all around! Will definitely go back! ESPECIALLY for that bread pudding! Yum!

I recently got back from Paris for the first time and I will say the food was on point. The service was fantastic. Our server made curated suggestions to our taste and was extremely patient with the toddler we had. My cousin tried escargot for the first time and was super impressed. It ended up being such a fun night in a relaxed atmosphere. 10/10 recommend. It’s always exciting when you find one of pierce county’s hidden gems. And the dessert was amazing!!! I had the cordon bleu and will definitely be going back for it.
