Food was AMAZING! Chef and staff were welcoming, friendly, and courteous, with a warm and comfortable atmosphere. This is probably one of the best restaurants in Pierce County that makes delicious food from scratch. Highly recommend!

Finally made it for a dinner here and it was exceptional! A very unassuming place and was surprised by how fresh and well prepared the food was. Service was great too! I could tell the server was new, but made sure she was telling us all correct info about our food. Another note on service: my dining partner has a gluten intolerance and ordered a breaded entree by accident (his fault, he did not alert the staff) and they promptly brought him a new dish free of charge. Didn’t even make us feel bad about it. Will be returning many more times in the future!

Dishes were incredible and layered with so many flavors. Highly recommend getting dessert after because it’s as lovely as the rest of the meals. Chef was so sweet and you can tell he was passionate and happy to create these simple and elegant dishes. Will be back our next time in the area.

I'm addicted to Beef Wellington... If you serve it, I will show up and fawn at your tables. If you also serve escargot, all the better and you'll have to kick me out ... They have both here at Citron, though you'll have to catch the Wellington when it appears. They're good. Service is nice. In the proper fashion of better small establishments, the chef comes out and greets you, and enquires about your satisfaction. Easy to Park .. Citron is tucked away behind Frugals, a little bit east.

The place to go when you want a genuine homemade European dinner. We visited twice this month and all the food we tried was amazing including the beef bourguinon, mussels, lamb, and fish. Touch of garden adds such freshness to the meals. The desserts are exceptional. Crepes are are must try.

Wow! Talk about a hidden gem! Found this amazing place on the way to Olympia, WA. The chef here loves cooking and it shows. Amazing food. French Onion soup was fantastic. Boef Burguinone was as good as I have ever had, and the hand made spaetzle put it over the top. The Weinerschnitzel was also exceptional, and the included Jaeger sauce was awesome! Finally, the Crepes Citron added an expertly prepared sweet finish to a genuinely awesome dinner. I have no idea why this place isn't packed-the location is definitely odd, but if you find yourself anywhere near Citron, you should definitely make an effort to stop by for dinner.
