I love this place and hope it never goes away. Its Lakewood's best hidden treasure of a coffee shop and bakery. It doesn't look fancy from the outside but inside you can feel the love and the staff is super kind. The breads and cookies are homemade, you feel the love and passion in the baking and it shines thru. Drinks are also delicious and they serve Victorola coffee.
Came here after work with pretty low energy and the place actually helped me unwind a bit. The lighting was warm, music stayed soft, and nobody was rushing customers out even though most tables were occupied. I ordered an iced americano with fries to snack on. Fries came out hot and crispy instead of sitting under a heat lamp forever. A group near the counter became loud for a few minutes, though staff handled it politely without making the environment uncomfortable. Relaxed spot...
I can't recommend this place more, it has quickly became one of my favorite cafe and lunch places! The workers are so nice, the bakery items are all delicious and the drinks are amazing, I recommend the black sugar latte. You won't be disappointed!!
