Cook’s hits all the marks. Comfortable setting that is clean and homey. Although crowded it was not too loud. The food is outstanding. Fresh ingredients and creative use of herbs and spices that is tasty. The chicken was very good as were the homemade potatoes and fresh asparagus. The tomato soup is fresh with a wonderful flavor and texture. And the staff are efficient and friendly. Andy G, our waiter was personable and attentive to us enjoying our meals. Great breakfast/brunch spot with rotating culturally turned part of the menu. One of the few brunch style restaurants where I leave and think that everything was worth it compared to making at home. The biscuits are housemade and really good - not too salty or heavy like classic Southern diner restaurants. Good was fresh and flavorful, coffee was refilled constantly, and the indoor area has a great vibe with rotating art.
Really, really good food
Service is not very good. There were 6 different people waiting for tables. You had 7 tables available, but you couldn't clean them for customers. Most of lunch you had 5-7 tables available, with people still waiting to be seated.
