OMG!!! I found an Orange Julius at the Tacoma Mall, getting hard to find nowadays! Met my wife of 38 years at the South Shore Mall in Aberdeen, both no longer there. Best fruit smoothie ever with their special secret fairy dust, especially my favorite the pina colada...

This DQ is at the FoodCourt in the Tacoma Mall and only one person (Oliama) working the cash register, taking orders and making the orders with a smile! PEOPLE OF TACOMA PLEASE read sign at the counter before you order! MASKS REQUIRED! SO PEOPLE DO YOUR JOB! Oli, she is fully masked for her safety and for her customers! while she got my mini blizzard birthday treats ready I made small talk with her AND found that she's awesome! a real customer service agent that would put Jake from State Farm to shame! Yeah,She's that good! DQ stands for Dam Quick!

This place was pretty rude and had some of the most impatient employees and took a while to give us our order and after receiving our food it was slightly cold. Worse customer service I've ever seen, they work how ever they feel like. Strongly don't recommend this place

Oh the classic Dairy Queen ?. This place always fulfills my cravings for soft serve ice cream. If you’ve never done one of DQs ice cream cakes please do yourself a favor and have one.I do really wish they would reopen the dining part of the restaurant. I totally respect wanting to be safe. But that drive through line is long.

Elias was quick and kind! Kinda wish he had help so the line could move more quickly. Also, management: let us tip your employees with a card!

First of all, I want to give major props to the young person who was working today, I believe his name tag said Caden. He was friendly, calm, and collected and was filling orders very efficiently, even with a line stretching halfway to the opposite wall. The reason I’m giving two stars is that Caden was working ALONE in the busy mall at 2PM on a Sunday. The other food places nearby such as Auntie Anne’s had at least four people working but Caden was at the counter by himself.Since the majority of what this location sells is blended drinks, it takes some time to fill each order and blenders have to be washed frequently. Skeleton staffing isn’t fair to staff OR customers, I can only imagine the stress as the line backs up and people start to get impatient. Especially with the pandemic, more staff means more time to clean and sanitize. On top of all this, there was no way for me to tip Caden for his great work in the face of adversity, since there is only a physical tip jar and no way to tip on a card. In this day and age this is totally unreasonable, hardly anybody carries cash - again, especially in a pandemic! - and this severely limits the amount of tips that workers can receive. Please staff your business appropriately, make it so your workers can get tips, and give Caden a raise.

Shanna was just absolutely a delight. We had been driving around to different Dairy Queen's looking for the elusive Apple pie blizzard. We called around to 4 locations before we found that the Tacoma Mall location still offered this treat. My husband was so excited; he had begun to believe he missed his opportunity to try it. Upon arrival, Shanna was polite and welcoming. We ordered our blizzards and much to our surprise she actually flipped them upside down to present. The other location near us, on Pearl Street never does this, or does it just ever so slightly as they always seem to be runny. You could tell Shanna took her job very seriously and was almost offended that the other location would do that. It was important to her that she upheld the values and store principles that DQ is known for. She is an invaluable asset to this location!

Not bad

My daughter and I are regular customers at this dairy queen at tacoma mall. The manager/owner Shanna is cordial but a cheapskate/stingy with sundae toppings. Everytime I order a hot fudge sundae, she barely puts hot fudge on ice cream. It does not even coat ice cream. I told my daughter to let her know to put little more hot fudge on ice cream to at least get money's worth. Shanna then has nerve to charge additional 75 cents to $1 for doing it! I did research and called other dairy queen stores in additional state and it is not matter of weighing or measuring and they confirmed for me that she is cheating people out of getting money's worth. I am aware that there is a limit of a topping on a sundae but at least coat it and give money's worth. smh.

Who doesn't love Dairy Queen. Not great on the waist, but great on taste and you can't resist to go for a treat.

Great food and Orange Julius'. I have been here several times over the years while waiting for a phone screen protector to be applied at the ZAGG kiosk. Most recently I had a pulled pork bbq sandwich with a pretzel bun, a bag of Doritos Nacho chips and a cup of rootbeer. The sandwich was great even though the pulled pork had onions mixed in, not fond of onions.
