Been going here for over 15 years. Best service, ambiance and food!
Delicious viet curry, tofu fried rice, and fresh tofu spring rolls. I stopped in to check the menu out and was happy that they had so many vegan options. The customer next to me said he is a regular and has been be tu pleased with everything he gets.
Tam took my order and was very friendly and helpful. My order was ready pretty quickly and we decided East West will be a regular spot for us.
The one thing that concerned me is the dust bunnies in the kitchen visible from the entrance. Fingers crossed they don’t end up in the food.

Stopped here after a visit to the Tacoma Glass Blowing store on Proctor. Was very pleased with the food and beverage. Will definitely be back!
Dietary restrictions: Was great about meeting our dietary restrictions and had lots of options for anyone who doesn't want a Thai dish or a spicy dish.

Ordered the curry to go and received less than 1/4 cup of rice to go with it. That is really ridiculous because I spent $17-18 for an entree that includes basically no rice and a small cup of curry sauce. The serving was so small, I thought they had given me someone else's leftovers in a box. I will not be returning.

BEST hidden gem in Proctor! (But maybe not for long.) We were visiting from out of town and wanted to eat out on a Friday night. After looking at reviews, we chose this place for the photos of the food and good ratings. As we walked past a Mexican restaurant on the corner it was packed. We accidentally passed East West once because we weren’t being very observant. When coming back and walking in, the restaurant was empty and it made us second guess our choice. We were the only ones dining in at that time. The waiter was very polite and friendly. He checked on us just the right amount to make sure we didn’t need anything, but not so often to be annoying. He also politely let my son know he might prefer a different curry because the one he had picked was one of the least popular dishes. My son took his advice and was happy that he did. Both our entrees were DELICIOUS! I’d eat here again in a heartbeat!!

This is an average spot. Food quality was good, seasoned for the demographic. Server was pleasant and the spot was clean, the final outcome just didn't tick the boxes.

It's my favorite place to eat. We dine-in at least once every 7-10 days. The variety of Asain food is delicious! Tam makes his own broths, curries, sauces and more. I like to order one of the curries or the Saigon crepe. I've enjoyed the noodle meals as well. My husband often orders the pad kee mau or Thai basil delight. They do carry-out, too. Give it a try!
Vegetarian options: Tofu is a protein option for many of the selections.

We ordered vegan versions of several dishes. After my wife noticed a fish sauce taste in the vegetarian dishes we ordered the waitress confessed that the cooks aren't strict about avoiding it. She said that there was really only one dish that the cooks made that could be trusted.
