Nice relaxing friendly place for breakfast. Nice staff and pleasant people in the restaurant. Food was good and free refills on sodas and coffee. Really liked the place and will be back. Not super expensive.

Great Family place to go eat in the restaurant and all the patrons at the bar and restaurant are amazing. They all make it feel like hanging out with family every time. The people DEFINITELY make the place what it is and EVERYONE is welcome. Come as you are...

For a minority it seemed like a tense atmosphere but the food is great but the service needs some help or something

My husband and I visited here for the first time. This restaurant is in an older part of Tacoma, but it was clean and quaintly decorated. Our server was attentive and friendly and brought us water and coffee right away.

I ordered the plain cheese omelette with mushroom and sausage as the add ons. The omelette came with crispy hash browns and I chose sourdough toast. My husband ordered the Philly Cheesesteak sandwich which came with perfectly seasoned hand cut fries.

My husband is very particular about his Philly Cheesesteak sandwiches. This one did not disappoint. He raved about it to me and to our server as we were leaving.

I needed to use the restroom before we left. That was an experience. While clean, there were no locks on either door, and the water was ice cold or a trickle of still cold water. It is not a deal breaker to prevent me from returning but it was an interesting surprise.

Parking: Parallel parking on either side of the street.

You can tell this place has been there forever; It was old even 30 years ago when I was little. Everyone working there immediately treated us like family. The fries were AMAZING hand cut and fried dark golden. The Philly I had there was better than the famous Philly's I had in Philadelphia. My mom's cheeseburger was yummy.

But the bathrooms... Oof.

Biscuits and gravy were honestly the worst I have had, both in texture and taste...the eggs and hashbrowns were good even though I asked for the hashbrowns to be crispy and they almost didn't even cook them haha

Probably the best hole in the wall bar I have ever been to. The regulars and bartender (Che) definitely made our weekend in Tacoma! We will be back everytime we venture to Tacoma! Che, all the way!

A great hole in the wall bar. Great service. The men's restroom smells like an outdoor toilet I used in India once. It catches the back of your throat and makes you gag. Unfortunately, it permeates through the bar. It's Dante's inferno in
