Tried giving it another try after a huge failure with a steak but upon going back the lobster bisque was sour and I’ve never paid so much for a lobster bisque with ZERO lobster meat in the bowl.

I really like this place. It's in an awesome location, hidden away with a great view of the water. Excellent food and drinks, excellent service but spread too thin. The waitresses are very kind and likable but very very busy. They do their best and I don't hold it against them although you can wait 20+ minutes for a drink order and 45+ mins for dinner. To their credit the waitress comped a dessert without us asking which I thought was a nice gesture. I highly recommend this restaurant but go in expecting to be there for a couple hours if it's busy.Parking: You can park in the public lot across the street for free. If you stay after the park closes the hostess can use a remote to open the gate for you.

Arrived at about 430pm and asked for a table for 3, girl up front smiled and pulled out the menus and asked us to follow her. When we got to the table she turned and said, and I qoute, "We will need this table in an hour." Her tone was flat and off-putting. I personally thought, what a rude thing to say, but it was my son's birthday so we stayed.Upon opening the menu it was not the high prices that shocked me, but the dirty food stained menus. I'm sure this is a health code flag. If the employees didn't turn tou off of the place the dirty menues would. Then the whole time we were there, there was an annoying slaming sound. I was told it was a kitchen door or something.Upon ordering I had asked for ice tea, and sugar. Another girl brought me the tea, when I inquired about the sugar she made a face and told me my tea was unsweetened and then when I asked for sugar she made a noise and left. When she returned she had brought me only 2 packets. When I had asked for more she again made a noise and left returning with a handful and dropping it down on the table. The sugar packets were dirty and some of them leaking sugar all over the table.Food arrived and it was simply amazing. The flavors were well paired and delicious.Had to wait 10 minutes to flag down a girl for refills. I'm not sure if they are just understaffed but it defiantly needs attention. We ordered dessert, we ordered the espresso ice-cream, it also was delicious. Was it worth the 9 or 10 dollars for the little cup? No.All in all. The food was the only good thing. Will I return? Probably not. Honestly the food does not out weigh the terrible service.

The smoked salmon Alfredo was amazing at Gino's at the Point. Great atmosphere, perfect music selection (tone, volume) and personable service. Oh and you can't beat the view.Dietary restrictions: Just let the chef know.. he will make it happen if possible

Very short staffed due to a family emergency. We waited one hour for our first cocktail. I felt sorry for them. The food was very good but it took so long for everything. The waitress kept apologizing but once she told us there was a family emergency then we knew what was causing all of the delays. My only complaint about the food is at the menu said the item came with rice, but instead it came with a large amount of pasta, and I am gluten intolerant, and they don't serve gluten-free pasta. Otherwise, I would not have ordered it. The salmon was excellent.

The food we ordered was delicious. We were disappointed though that the menu posted on Open Table was not correct and there were not some of the traditional Italian dishes available we saw listed on Open Table.

Beautiful view. Delicious food and drink. Outstanding service. 10/10 recommendParking: There are a few parallel parking spots directly in front of the restaurant but be careful not to park too far down as they are for the locals. It's marked. There is also a small park with a parking lot next door that you can use. It closes at sundown but you can still access the lot for dining

Go. Enjoy! All the food is delicious. My husband and I had a delightful day without the kids and stopped here for an early dinner (5 pm) after hitting the beach. We tried at least one thing from every course/menu: Dungeness Crab Flatbread, Lobster Bisque, Scallops, Surf & Turf, Chocolate mouse cake, Affogato, and a cocktail. Everything was a hit! Scallops and steak practically melted in the mouth, each bite was so tender. Our server was fast and friendly; my water glass never hit empty. Showing up early meant less noise and a gorgeous sunset view from the beach right outside the restaurant. We're already planning our next visit.Parking: There's a parking lot that is shared with the park, but the gate closes at 8. Late diners will have to fight for street parking.Kid-friendliness: This is fancy dining. My boys would struggle to sit through a multi course meal without relief. There is a playground just outside by the parking lot if anyone gets antsy.Wheelchair accessibility: They have a ramp to get in. Half the seating (and party rooms) is upstairs, though. Definitely specify if you need accessible downstairs seating.

We would love to give a 5 star review but we must have caught them on a tough night. Maybe they were down a server or two. Drinks took forever to come, but the food was up quickly. Long time between server visits to the table so there were delays there too. They comped us desserts with apologies. The food was delicious.

Ginos is a treat. Awesome Italian inspired food! It's a hidden gem. I have visited Gino's a before, the food is always consistent and delicious. Great wine selection too. Great place for dates cozy and intimate. Give Ginos a try, you won't be disappointed! The waitress staff is amazing as well.

This was our 3rd visit to Gino's. The previous two were great. This time, not so much. The cocktails and ambience were great, but that's about it. Service was ok, not amazing. The Diablo shrimp were overcooked, the lobster bisque was very runny. Not creamy like a bisque should be. My red pepper soup was good but I recall it being smoother in other visits. My wife's lobster risotto was quite literally soup. They claimed it was "Peruvian" style. In an Italian Seafood restaurant? Either way, it was unacceptable and should have never made it out of the kitchen. They at least took that off the bill. My scallops were a bit overdone and whatever was in the crab ravioli was mushy and tasteless. We're hoping this was an anomaly because we do like the vibe and views there a lot. Going to be a while before we go back again though.

This is a restaurant with a chef who clearly knows how to cook, but with a rough location and staffing issues. I’ve eaten here three times in the last year, most recently the Friday after Valentine’s Day. Each time I’ve had a good overall meal, with some sort of issue that prevented it from being great. Most recently I had surf and turf and the food was excellent, but the pear ravioli pasta I ordered as an appetizer was not prepared as well as in last visits. That said, it was still a solid meal, just with lots of noise and clearly a harried waitress. The biggest issue I had was the noise in the restaurant which has been an issue each time I dined here. This should be an ideal location for a cozy date night, but the atmosphere feels more akin to rowdy locals drinking at the bar. I think the owners should consider carpeting or noise deadening on the ceiling to quiet the noise. They could probably use some additional staff too, but maybe most nights it’s not an issue. Additionally, parking is tough here. There is a lot adjacent to the restaurant but the gate closes at 8pm, so street parking is the only option for a late reservation. I’m disabled, and this means there is no accessible parking. This alone makes it hard to come here. All that said, I do enjoy the food at Gino’s and will likely be back, just on a lower key day.Parking: Parking is tight here if you can’t use the lot. If you’re disabled, arrive with an early reservation, or have someone who can drop you at the door and then find parking.

It was a rough night for the restaurant. We could tell they were understaffed but we’re still giving it their all. It was going pretty well until we got to our main course. My wife ordered risotto and what we received could only be described as fish and rice soup. There were some other issues, but that was the most glaring. Our drinks were amazing and so was our server. For that we might give it another try. But man, that was tough.
