Following a recent tip from a neighbor, we went to Ginos at the Point for my wifes birthday. This small family owned and run restaurant did not disappoint. The Italian/Seafood/Steak themed menu with a bit of a Peruvian influence (Chef/Owner is originally from Peru. Would highly recommend for a picturesque spot to drink and dine at with friends and family.
Cute location and friendly staff at the front. I stopped in to check out the menu and have a snack. There is both a butternut squash and pear ravioli on the menu at the moment, both are made in house per the staff and I look forward to sampling them in the future.
As I was dining alone I went for the fish and chips, a mainstay for me. While the fish was certenly fresh it lacked seasoning. The chips were good. They taste clean, which I assume means the fryers...

Had dinner at Gino’s at the Point and absolutely loved the experience. The atmosphere was cozy and elegant, the service was attentive, and the food was delicious from start to finish. You can really tell they care about quality and presentation. Perfect spot for a nice dinner with beautiful waterfront vibes. Definitely a place I would come back to when visiting Tacoma again.
