The food is on point here. Some of the best chicken fried steak I've had in a long time. Actually tasted like steak instead of beat up and just fried. Don't get me wrong. I love both styles and the gravy is where it's always at on these things.. was perfect. The bloody Mary's were decent for the strength and the flavor was good. Nothing amazing, but better than plenty you'll find around town. Definitely a much nicer place and service than you'd imagine...

My husband and I visited Grit City Breakfast for the first time last week. The seating process was a little slow for how quiet it was, and service started out the same way, but our waitress was kind and things picked up as the meal went on.

The food was delicious and honestly that is what matters most. There is just something about a good classic breakfast burrito that is so hard to pass up. We would definitely come here again!

Our server Amanda was very kind and attentive and Rico made the most amazing food! I had a veggie breakfast burrito and it was cooked to perfection. My partner had the French toast, it’s coated in cinnamon and absolutely delicious, and the breakfast potatoes had that perfect golden brown crust on them. It’s a comedy club by night but during the day it’s a great place to get a bite to eat. Thank you Grit City Breakfast! We will definitely be back for dinner sometime.
