The food was good. The drinks are good. The service was lacking. We had seen a post online and decided to give it a try and didn't realize you have to go to the bar to order food and drinks. So we went in, sat in a booth and waited until we realized that we had to actually get up to go get served. I’ve been here before but only for a beer. It is a very dark, comfortable bar. A nice tap selection. Due to Tacoma’s draconian restaurant requirements, it has no deep fat fryer and mostly offers pizza and calzones since the expense and requirements are less for that. The pizza was ok. Not bad, not great but ok. Could use more sauce, it was a little dry. I had the everything pizza. The outdoor beer garden is well shaded and pleasant.

Legend has it that on a dark cold night, fresh in from the war, a young broken 22 year old wandered into this bar and ordered a water, afraid that the war was breaking her.
Come the old Vietnam vet, who learned her the art of pool. All the kindness that the patrons showed are the reason its 2026, she's got a kiddo, a job, doesn't drink, stopped doing meth and heroin and is on the tailend of mental health counseling.
