We ordered from the Chinese menu (not the Cambodian menu). We kept it simple with beef fried rice and crab cream cheese wontons. The food isn’t fancy, but it’s cheap and comforting; the kind of food you want to bring home. The staff were welcoming and eager to help and give suggestions, and our food was ready in less than 5 minutes. The environment was calm and homey; regulars cheerily greeted the staff. We’re reviewing Happy Asian Food based on the Cambodian dishes we ordered (not the Chinese food).

We had mekathung, samlaw machu krueng, and loc lak — all were flavorful, comforting, and authentic. It tasted like home cooking, and the portions were generous for the price, which we really appreciated.

Service was decent, and we truly appreciated how kind and welcoming the staff were. It’s a small team, and you can tell they’re working...
