If you’re going on Saturday morning be prepared to wait a bit (outside) in line and dress accordingly! Worth it though. Phenomenal service and food. Their bagels and shmear are good- just the right amount of chew and density but not dried out or tough. If you like sandwiches though definitely give one of their bagel sandwiches a try. The “hot to go” was the favorite of the 3 we tried (classic bacon egg cheese, pastrami, & hot to go).

Seating inside limited in comparison to the line and the demand so best to plan to take out. On a Saturday morning we waited a total of an hour from entering the line to ready to eat.

Highly recommend Howdy Bagel if you’re in the Tacoma or Seattle area. Don’t let the lines discourage you. They’re worth the wait but also the lines go by quick. The workers at Howdy Bagel are friendly and fast. I tried the Hot to Go on an everything bagel, and it was delicious. I can’t wait to try their other items. Highly recommend 10/10! 🥯

They are open such weird hours and only have one good flavor which is plain. Just wasted 30 minutes in line because they didn't have any plain bagels. It sucks because they are the only bagel place in town. I wish they would operate during decent hours and expand their menu

I got the grit city with rosemary salt bagel, lox in box with sesame bagel, and plain bagel. Everything but the bagels were great. The bagel exterior was so so chewy. I wouldn't recommend the bagels unless you enjoy beef jerky type of chewiness. My jaw was sore for the rest of the day after having it for a late lunch. I really wanted to like it. Parking is not easy.
