Service was excellent! Our server went above and beyond to accommodate us and the food was great!
Good selection of beers, liquor if you want. They also have a beer garden with Games which is great during warmer spring and summer nights. They have a fire pit but apparently no propane.
The waitress was very nice the few times we saw her. We waited over 40 minutes for a pizza and French dip, that wasn't worth the wait or price. The sandwich was supposed to be beef brisket. It tasted like bland pot roast served with store bought frozen fries for $13. No one let us know why we were waiting or came to see if we wanted refills. When I walked by the kitchen area, the two people making food, were laughing and having a good time as if there weren't any customers waiting. Definitely won't be coming back and wouldn't recommend to anyone unless you enjoy being overcharged and long wait times. *Edit* I emailed them because they asked me to. They still haven't contacted me about my experience.
Not a hug fan of the beer, but I really enjoyed the pizza! We had the Rustic and it was excellent. Highly reccomend
Pretty disappointed with the experience here. We ordered an appetizer, and 40 minutes later were told they were out of that item, so we ordered something else and then never received it after waiting another 30 minutes. We just decided to pay our bill and leave. When we went to cash out at the bar they didn't have a tab or anything started for us and acted rude when we were just trying to pay for the 4 beers we ordered. The beers were good, but we won't be coming back.
The new growler spot. Friendly and knowledgeable service, and a vast selection of some really interesting beers. My sweetie got a white stout there yesterday that he loved.
It is unlikely that we will ever go to the Stadium District HUB again. I had made a reservation for Mothers' Day(!) but we had to wait one and a half hours to be served! It turned out that our order had been lost/misplaced. As we could not abide remaining in the restaurant any longer, we decided to leave. On the way out, the on-duty manager stopped us to say that he would provide our requested meals at no cost and had them boxed for us for take with us. We accepted his offer, paid for our drinks, and left.
Everything! Poor service, never got to eat? After waiting 45 mins., I began to wonder, if The Hub had a problem with interracial couples, as I and my white wife watched as a couple who came in after us got their food before us? I also began to wonder if I should have been eating in "coloreds section" of the restaurant as the Sierra Mist I received tasted like soda water and when I mentioned it to the waitress, she wasn't happy with me mentioning it and advised that the CO2 tanks might have been just changed? I have eaten all over the city of Tacoma and the country and was totally surprised that a restaurant in the Stadium District would come off as something out of 1960's South? Already putting the world out on The Hub.
I absolutely love their salad so I keep coming back even after continued customer service issues. 3/4 times something is missing from a pick / delivery order. When you call them they insist they included it. Like I am willing to drive back out to them after already having the item! It's frustrating to hear justification instead of, sorry that wasn't included, we will have it ready. Last time my husband picked up the order he spent over 5 minutes arguing with the staff that to
Love it! We love going to the district before everyone wakes up on Saturday morning. It had just rained and it still smelled fresh and wet. We strolled a bit and ended up eating at the Harmon Hub for breakfast. They have a breakfast pizza that just keeps us coming back. And on the kids menu he gets French toast and usually finishes it all up. The service was good with an attentive waitress so our coffee cups never went below half. Great start to the day in the Tacoma Stadium District.

I sure had a wonderful time at the HUB in Tacoma...great food, great atmosphere and a very attentive waitress! Brandy is the best...our orders were perfect and she delivered with accuracy and a smile on her face! I can hardly wait to eat here again
I have called the restaurant 8 times and received one call back. All I am trying to do is reserve a room for a meeting. But apparently, only a manager can schedule that. And apparently all the managers are too busy to call someone back after three weeks. Each time I have called, I have gotten attitude from the employees. It wasn't until I put a bad review on here that I got contacted over facebook messenger. I then deleted my original review in respect for the company. Now after I have been contacted, the manager has given attitude as well and quickly left the phone call because "of an important matter". They have been very unprofessional. Again, this is a very dissatisfying experience. Expectations were set from previous times that The Hub has hosted events for me. Previously this company does great and calls back within one day but ever since they got rid of Danielle, the Hub has gone down completely with their customer service skills. Very unprofessional. I expect to have better interactions in the future.
Awesome pub! Great gathering place, good food, good beer, reasonable prices! Good for large groups.
You can't go wrong with the HUB or Harmon. They are staples of Tacoma and never let you down. The food, service, and atmosphere are always on point. They are a fine representation of this great city.
Was at Harmon's Pacific Ave Jan 2019 on a Sunday for breakfast. Best ever French Toast. Three thick slices with bacon and eggs for less than $15
