The food was great, cool atmosphere and prices were excellent but unfortunately was not super impressed with the staff. We felt like we were annoying them by being in the restaurant.
Open table offered an 8:45 reservation time. Apparently the restaurant closes at 9, which we didn't know. We hit some snags on the way so we were 10 min late, and the host borderline rolled his eyes at us when we walked in and said we were late for our reservation. He sat us without saying a word. Then as he went to seat us, a waitress mouthed “not me!” (As in don't put them in my section) to the host. I was confused since the dining room as busy....We would have...
We had a 7pm reservation and were seated promptly. Host was nice, and service was great. Food was wonderful, flavorful, and portions were robust. server was attentive and polite. I was however disappointed that we were seated next to the window with a view of the busy street and random homeless people making weird gestures high on drugs. he left, however when we got up to use the bathroom I walked through a wonderful part of the establishment that had a pond and nice handcrafted...
