I stopped by to try the Spicy Chicken Deluxe sandwich. The bun is soft with lettuce and tomato plus their spicy mayo. The patty is fried chicken super tender on the inside and crispy on the outside. It had slices of jalapeño too which was a nice surprise While the sandwich was good it was not spicy as advertised. It would have been best if they added the spice rub to the batter rather than sprinkle it on top of the finished product. Perhaps also add some ground black pepper to the spice rub for an extra kick. It is definitely filling and worth a try. Perhaps they altered the original menu to appeal to a wider audience. Worth a try but byo hot sauce if you desire a spicy kick!

I thought since Tukwila already had the spicy chicken after how many months all of the Jollibee restaurants were out, the tacoma would have it back too. But not only do they not have it back, they also don’t have the palabok which is one of the two things I go to Jollibee for ? Please improve this location. It’s closer to where I live and I’m craving daily for spicy chicken and palabok ??

What's great about opening in Tacoma is that the lines aren't as long as at the South Center branch?

Missing a lot of items of a normal Jollybee. No palabok, no spicy chicken, no jolly dog, etc. Very disappointed with the limited selection. Not worth the drive if can't even get what I want.EDIT: to owner I am not saying the kitchen was low on stock I'm saying you don't carry like half a normal jollybee menu. Even after a couple months ago they told me they would start carrying palabok soon.

I always avoid going to the one in south center cause of how busy they are but I was actually in Tacoma and was super excited that they recently opened one here I arrived about 30 mins till closing and placed a Togo order and I was a bit bum that they didn't have any spicy chicken left when I arrived but still excited The restaurant itself wasn't too busy and they were pretty quick in packing our order and everything was fresh and hot I ordered the spicy chicken sandwich and the 10 price bucket deal with fries as sides - the fries weren't super fresh but still good and everything else was amazing considering it took me 25 mins to drive home with the food Overall - super excited that there's another location and another reason for me to head down to Tacoma more often

Not sure what all the hype is about this establishment but the reviews from others are all wrong. This place failed big time in my book. For starters it's too small to dine inside and is very noisy; better off taking the order out and eat elsewhere. The service was fast as any other fast-food place and the staff was courteous, but that's as far as it goes. The food was not tasting good and the prices are comparable to other fast-food places. I ordered a 10 piece chicken bucket with 2 mango/peach pies & 1 Ube pie, 1 burger steak, 1 pineapple drink, fries, mashed potatoes with gravy, mac-n-cheese, & 1 adobo rice for a party of 3 people. Now for the results: the rice tasted pretty good although it was overcooked. The fries tasted like they were fried in old oil and didn't taste good. The fries tasted like the same type found at other fast-food establishments. The burger steak also know as a Salisbury steak was of miniature size and tasted like fake beef almost like a banquet brand Salisbury steak (definitely not good). The gravy for the burger steak tasted like that of KFC (YUK!). The mac-n-cheese was only fair and bland plus a bit on the mushy side similar to what Popeyes offers (it needs more real cheese in it not the imitation stuff). The pineapple drink was too watered down with no pulp like what real pineapple juice would have. mashed potatoes tasted like KFC and with double the size of gravy. The fried chicken consisting of dark meat (legs & thighs ) tasted of old meat like what day-old chicken would look and taste like. (dry, but not oily like what KFC does to their chicken). There was no specific seasoning on the fry portion or in the chicken itself that would distinguish it being better than what KFC, Churches, or Popeyes chicken would offer. It was literally bland. Where's the seasoning? Finally, the peach/mango pies tasted like hostess style pies (nothing fancy) except a little more crispiness to them but with less filling. One of the pies had very little filling. The Ube Pie tasted really nasty. I don't think Jollibee's knows what Ube is suppose to taste like. Jollibee's might be excellent place over in the Philippines but it's not good at the Tacoma and South Center locations (Although the South Center locations is 50% better but not worth driving an hour to get to for this type of food. I didn't try the Filipino style spaghetti because I don't like banana ketchup on pasta; I prefer real pasta sauce mixed with veggies and if Jollibee can't get the other fast food items done properly I bet the spaghetti noodles would be mushy over cooked and not "al-dente". Consequently, I won't return to this location but might visit the other location If I am in that area.

I went here Friday last week 03/15/2024 for the first time. Small space, felt cramped. The ube pie wasn't good, it was ordinary. The peach mango pie was still better. The chicken in this location was salty unlike the Jollibee in Southcenter Mall. This location also doesn't have a full menu. The spaghetti was mostly sauce and not much in the sauce like meat, hotdogs, etc. I also think the spaghetti didn't have enough sauce for the family pack. I'll have to think about it if I will go back to this location again or drive all the way to Southcenter Mall instead for better tasting food.

I've been hearing about this place for years. I finally tried it today with my wife. It's only about three minutes from my house. It was jam packed but they were getting orders in and out with no issue. Everyone was also very friendly. Everything was absolutely delicious. My chicken was freshly fried and hot. I had two biscuits, Mac and cheese, and mash as sides... delicious. We tried the pineapple juice, again, YUM! I I have already added it to my lunch week to try the chicken sandwiches and whatever else is left on their menu. I'm sad I waited so long.

This placed just plain sucked. From the way to small entry way/order line area. My order took 32 minutes to get. I had to ask about 4 times when my order would be ready. The service just seemed annoyed and could care less. Just kept saying, "it's being prepared right now". Probably 15 people who ordered after me got their orders before I did. The food was mediocre. Chicken was gristley, but had a nice crunch to it. Fries were cold and not that great. Biscuits were dried out and stale. All the hype of this place, definitely wasn't good. It's safe to say I won't ever eat at one of these places again. You'd be better off going to Churches, Chick-fil-A, or KFC.

It's better to drive to tukwila or or better yet fly to the Philippines for jollibee. Place didn't have everything on the menu and would often run out of items i

Why even have the restaurant open if you don’t have everything? No spicy? Seriously? No adobo rice??

Food tastes like Jollibee but the menu is very lacking and service is still a little slow.
