We went to their stand at the fair, which is the only reason why I'm giving benefit of the doubt. Otherwise I'd give 1 star. The staff didn't seem to want to take orders, whatever, long days working the fair, I get it. But what got me was the food. At least, how they served it. Truly had me gagging. The plate we got was the kahlua pork, which I was very excited for. This is NOT that. It was entirely grease and oil, it was disgusting. Couldn't even eat it. People around us were asking if it was supposed to come like that, I didn't even know what to tell them since we've never had food from this business before. It took more than 10 minutes to get all the grease and oil out, even then it just wasn't edible. So disappointed.

Drove past here on my way to the park and decided to loop back around on my way out. They were doing some kind of fundraiser or something. They only had one "plate" and they were 24$ each. I was like ehh kinda steep but got 2 for me and my boyfriend. This plate had Mac salad that was so creamy. The white rice with some kind of brown sauce on it that was a great added touch to the rice. The pulled pork that was insanely juicy and yummy. The chicken thigh was boneless and so juicy. The noodles were seasoned great and veggies in the noodles were cooked good. They gave us 2 Dasani water bottles with the 2 plates which was kind. I cannot wait to come back once they have their regular menu.

These folks had a food truck at Victorian Country Christmas. My wife and I checked out all the food vendors and picked them. We both had, if I remember how to spell it, a Samini plate. Very tasty. Looking forward to eating at their place on Ruston Way.

Delicious lunch plate. Price was great for what you get. I ordered a Huli Chicken plate, I got two large pieces of chicken, two scoops of rice and a scoop of macaroni salad. The only criticism I got was that my Mac salad had a large chunk of onion. Other than that, it was delicious. Quick and fast service too. Would highly recommend.

Food is good, service is great ! Quick fast Hawaiian food that is super convenient while you're walking Ruston way.

I had high hopes for this place. I bought the mixed bbq plate. Worst $19 I ever spent. Cheap fatty/tuff meat. Rice was chewy, macaroni scoop was the size of my pinky but had mammoth size onions in it. Not to mention the fork and knifes they provided literally bend when trying to grab anything...couldn't even finish my food Being completely honest. I hope the owner reevaluates standards as I don't see this place staying for long.

Not sure of whose mistake it is, but it says they're open. I'm here at 1300 hrs on a Thursday and they're not open. No Kahlua Pork for me today, so sad...

Got two plates at the fair & a Musubi. The Musubi wasn't good. The rice was hard! Threw it away. Really expensive for what it was. The "fried saimin" was filled w/ veggies and the flavor wasn't good. Also got chicken that didn't have much flavor whatsoever either.

I’m sitting here eating this and I have to say, there garlic chicken is delicious! Right amount of flavor, perfect crunchiness (and I’m picky) this being my first time and quite literally just walked up to it, all I can say is I cannot wait to try the rest of the menu. I am impressed definitely recommend to anyone that wants to find a place to stop by the waterfront and not be a big time restaurant person.

I tried Kama'Aina a little while back during the Washington State Fair. I haven't been to this Ruston area location yet, but I've always been curious about it! At their fair stand, I got the spam musubi and fried saimin. The fried saimin was pretty good! For $12 I got a huge plate of noodles, veggies, and meat. It was really good - tons of grease, but tons of flavor. I didn't get it because I was being health conscious, let's be real. The spam musubi fell incredibly short for me. It was suuuper bland and the rice was very mushy. I'm assuming that since it was the fair it was probably sitting out for too long or the regular attention that goes into making them wasn't there due to such a big crowd... That said, I'm definitely making a point to try their Tacoma location in it's entirety so I can see what they're all about! They've got a prime location near Ruston where you can easily grab food and go make a picnic out of your afternoon (assuming it's not raining). Will report back!

Horrible and expensive. Calamari was way over cooked, oysters were OK, the biggest problem here is that they make their own catsup and cocktail sauce, worst I've ever tasted. I couldn't even eat the fries, they were soggy and covered in some nasty red powder plus "no catsup". The oysters may have been better had the sauce not been so bad. Also there are no good places to sit. A couple of nasty wood rotting tables and a couple of park benches.

Went to the Puyallup fair yesterday and ordered from KHG. I ordered a malasada and a khalua pork plate . It was so delicious! Everything was amazing. I'm not usually a fan of Mac salad but theirs tasted so good ! I wish there was permanent location in Puyallup! Definitely ordering more in the future! There's a location on Ruston way at least . Thank you for the amazing food !

Heard so many good things, I ordered the sandwich with fries. It was so saturated in liquid the bottom bun completely fell apart and was dripping. Even part of the fries were ruined by it. The meat was so good but the entire sandwich was completely ruined and I couldn't eat it. Burger murderers it looked so good, but the disappointment was awful!

Garlic Chicken was cold and sooooooooooo salty! Drenched in soy sauce. Could not eat. Rice was mushy.
