Knapp's Restaurant Reviews
We’ve added this to the breakfast with family rotation recently and fell in love with their food. Huge portions and very tasty! Unfortunately, the service doesn’t match both times we came. With 3 waitresses and only 6 sat tables, we had a hard time getting napkins or coffee when asked. I even ordered the cinnamon roll to share with my husband and got it to-go when they realized they forgot it at the end. It was like walking on egg shells asking for anything because I felt...read full review
WOW! (Best choice for a late breakfast)
Welcoming prompt greetings. Staff seamlessly took care of all of our needs! Thank you Chris, Courtney, John, The owner Franco, Bonnie, Angie...this was my first dinning experience here, after hearing so many positive mentions. I must say that I had such lovely time! I look forward to my next visit- complete with outstanding customer service, cleanliness, quality portions... An atmosphere most charming.... 😋

Knapp's Restaurant is a cozy and family-friendly place suitable for various occasions, known for its accommodating services. They can easily handle large groups, as shown by their recent seating of 18 people on short notice. The restaurant has a warm, old-fashioned atmosphere with wood paneling and a smell reminiscent of the 60s and 70s, giving it a fun, dive-like feel. The menu offers satisfying options such as their generously sized happy hour burger with homemade thickness and customizable toppings. They also serve delicious omelettes, potato skins, chicken Caesar salad, and eggs benedict, which many customers find yummy. The restaurant features a dedicated area and lounge, making it suitable for both kids and adults. It is wheelchair accessible and provides a pleasant environment with good music. Attentive staff, including servers like Mady, ensure a delightful dining experience. Prices are reasonable, and visitors often feel comfortable and welcomed during their stay. The place is known for good diner food in large portions, great value, and quality breakfasts. It is in decent shape but could be cleaner, with free street parking nearby. The separated bar and dining areas are a plus, and many recommend it for old-fashioned diner meals or large breakfasts. With a history dating back to 1938, the restaurant has been updated over the years, featuring a large size with a full lounge, two dining areas, and a big banquet space. While service can be busy, staff work hard to provide good service, and the atmosphere remains welcoming. The menu includes traditional breakfast staples like chicken fried steak, scrambled eggs, country potatoes, and sourdough toast, with generous portions and decent flavor. Although nothing is outstanding, the food is good, and the overall experience is worth returning for, especially to sample other menu items.
