Update: We have been frequenting La Cà Bar for years and keep on returning for what is, in our experience, the best Vietnamese food in Tacoma.

This go-around we tried the Vietnamese crêpe (bánh xèo), Bún Bò Huê Pho and grilled beef bánh mì sandwich (Bánh Mì Bò Nướng).

Everything was excellent and super tasty. The bánh mì is the best we have had anywhere in the PNW; generously filled with grilled meat that is perfectly balanced...

Their grilled pork bahn mi is amazing. Staff is very friendly and attentive. Hard to find such good service these days!

Edit: price has gone up a lot over the last few years so adjusting my rating for what I feel are too high of prices currently.

Hole in the wall behind the weed store. Almost didn’t go in cuz it looked sketchy, but i persevered and glad i did. The young lady that seemed to run herd, loved classic rock and had it playing. Pho was great!
