The best roast lamb consommé & Barbicoa in Tacoma area and Oaxacan style tamales wrapped in banana leaves with delicate masa dough & can choose chicken & mole, the real deal & so moist unlike others I have had in corn husks . The cafe is rustic & only open 3/4 days a week & often has hand lettered sign, feel like I am in Oaxaca eating the large lamb broth consommé with garbanzos & vegetables & lamb barbicoa cooked in a brick lined pit with banana...
The food was good but the lady who served us was the sweetest. I hadn’t had that kind of costumer service in a very long time. The pozole and chicharrones were delicious, the sauces, the salsa, everything was just perfect. 10/10 we’re going back definitely!
The lady was very good to my cousin and I, gave us free food for we were waiting kn our family to get there. The service, great. The food, loved it. The only thing about it is that there is a Crack on a certain window, and you can feel the cold wind blowing on your back. It didn't bother me whatsoever, however, if you get cold easily, you will feel it. Also, the main door keeps on staying open.
