I traveled from Bellingham and picked up out of state friends to have dinner here. We had a great time on Commencement Bay last night, with Rainier front and center.
A couple of dozen fresh oysters on the 1/2 shell followed by the fresh menu of chinook, halibut and sole. The whole experience was outstanding.

Amazing service and food. They were very accommodating, we were running 30min late, they were totally OK with it and we were the last couple leaving the restaurant that night. The food was amazing and our waiter was awesome. Best place to eat when in tacoma.

I enjoyed the best oysters of my life here. I have no idea what kind they were but they were local to the PNW.
We ordered the Cajun pasta, a chimchurri steak, the lobster bisque, and the Connecticut lobster roll. Everything was amazing although the lobster meat was a bit smaller so I'm thinking it wasn't lobster claw meat traditionally used on the East Coast. It was still enjoyable...
