Working in the Tacoma area, I have tried a few pho places over the last 10+ years and Lunar has risen to the top of a fairly competitive market. For context, I traditionally get a veggie pho with beef broth, and the quality of the vegetables and broth are the best I have experienced. Coupled with fast and cordial service, it's hard to beat. Highly recommend!

Exceptional Vietnamese restaurant. Highly recommend the number 19 if you eat pork. This is one of my favorite culinary dishes of the world, and this place makes a fantastic version. It's a rice noodle salad that you pour over the sauce and mix mix mix then enjoy a flavourful mix of cool greens, herbs, warm marinated pork and savory cause. It's a revelation and a must have on a hot day.

My cousin and I had a meal here together. He was a very traumatized and picky eater and I forced him to eat pho here after he got out of prison. When he tried the food his eyes lit completely up and (lovely yet loudly) yelled in delight and demanded to see the chef to say his thanks.
