Hands down Manifesto has been the top coffee shop thus far in my life. Moved to hilltop in 2020 and it was right down the street and I went near daily M-F and Katie and the other baristas were always fantastic and made a top notch latte. This is a coffee shop for people who love coffee for what it is, and its inherent flavor. This is not the place to find a sugary Starbucks replica - it’s the kind of place that serves an absolutely magnificent latte or cappuccino, and other no frills options.Their in-house roasted coffee beans are high quality and the flavor unmatched. We moved out of state over a year ago and I still order their coffee beans in a 3lb bag every couple months. I don’t see that ending any time soon. I hope they never go out of business because I would actually cry over it. Manifesto - don’t ever change!

This place deserves to be highlighted, Tacoma for some reason isn't that great with cafes IMHO, happy to get few suggestions on places. Went here as I had a doc appointment nearby and liked this cute coffee shop, decided to hangout and finish my assignments Baristas were warm and ordering was easy peasy, cafe felt quiet and music wasn't loud too, so working was easy as well. I got Vanilla Latte and it was good, coffee was smooth and I enjoyed my cuppa. Do visit this cafe if you're in Tacoma area.

Best of best, among those I found exceptional, Avole in Seattle WA, Dogwood in Minneapolis MN, Epoch in Austin TX, George Howell in Boston MA, Brash and East pole in Atlanta GA.

A nice and quiet coffee shop in town. Good amount of tables and chairs so you can work or just hangout with friends.I ordered their latte, tasted decent but their foam is too rough imo. Just by looking at it, you can tell that's overly frothed with more than microfoam which was supposed to make your coffee smooth and sweet. Latte art is kind of there but could be better but I also understand it is a nice-to-have and it doesn't affect the taste.
For me absolutely the finest coffee I've found, roasted to perfection medium Columbian , never burnt ?!

Very elitist vibe, would go to Seattle if I was looking for that. Barista told me they don't carry soy "cause it's not good for all bodies" which was a weird reason. Max 12 Oz drinks. Barista didn't understand questions about how big shots were and got confused when I ordered a latte.
