This place is amazing. The plates are so full. it's very hard to finish your meal. The service was fantastic and the prices and value make it one of the best places to get a great meal that will more than fill you up. The cooks are top notch they make the very best comfort food! Will be back very soon. It's worth the 20minute wait any day!

Restaurant is small and very limited seating. But food and service is worth it when there is a wait.

For the past 10 years, when I ask friends, family or Facebook for breakfast recommendations, Marcia's silver spoon is the first place mentioned. I finally made it in today for brunch with my fiance. We came in about noon which seemed to be lucky timing for how popular this place seems to be because we were sat immediately. We were greeted by a very friendly and welcoming staff that made us feel right at home. The food was absolutely amazing to say the least and our server was so lovely. I could tell that she had a knack for customer service and serving as she was an absolute pro. I had the eggs Benedict with a side of biscuits and gravy and my fiance had the blueberry pancakes. Some of the best Benedict I've ever had, the gravy was to die for and my fiance said her pancakes were perfect. Absolutely wonderful experience and we will definitely be back. Prices were also VERY reasonable for the portion size and quality. The icing on the cake was that when I forgot my hat on our table upon leaving, our server chased us down in the parking lot with it to make sure we didn't leave without it. I was so thankful as I'd just gotten this hat and it was my favorite. Truly a staff that goes over and above to take care of their customers and ensure they have a great experience. Thank you Marcia's Silver Spoon!!!

This location and this greasy spoon diner was a five star, but until recently in the past few months, the service inside while dining has gone downhill I understand that this is a very busy popular place and the reason why it’s busy and popular is because the food are in large portions, and it is reasonably priced and it actually is consistently good the thing that is disappointing is that every single time that I am served by the waitress with a squeaky, high-pitched voice she really pisses me off, so I stopped dining in and start doing takeout orders because there’s been a few times where I’ve driven to this location to bring my friends that never experienced this place in Tacoma to give them more business and to be turned around because the lady with a high-pitched squeaky voice cannot run the small Less than 20 seat, diner by herself, so we’ve been turned around because they did not have additional waitress who had to go home because she sprained her ankle and the other time the kitchen closed early because they ran out of food that is unacceptable. Regardless, if you are a mom and pop restaurant. Now on to the takeout orders, I decided that I was gonna call in and just pick up the food but when I called today, the lady with the squeaky, high-pitched voice was rude over the phone telling me “well I can’t take your order now but if you wanna come down here Then place an order because I can’t take the order right now over the phone” who says something like that? that is unprofessional and unheard of. How is it going to take you the same amount of time that if I come down there in person to purchase my meal will be the same exact amount of time that it would be for me for you to take my order over the phone that’s the reason why I order over the phone so that it is ready when I come down there. I don’t wanna wait additional 30 something minutes in my car while waiting for my food to be prepared. This place is starting to get less and less for me so every time I see the lady with a high-pitched, squeaky voice I’ll just turn around or when I call I’ll just hang up and call again and wait for the other two ladies who are actually really nice and professional ….. Steer for caution from this place .

We had some tough luck on places to eat on day one of our trip, day 2 however started off with Marcia’s , and wow it was awesome! Chicken fried steak, and loaded hash browns!!! I’d say the loaded hash browns remind me of a burrito, so good, good food, and coffee plus friendly staff, 5⭐️ for sure!

Small, older place with large portions of great food. We got there right before the crowd, so be prepared to wait for a table, but worth it.Parking: Limited parking in front, not sure of other parking available.

Yummy, classic American breakfast! We got the chicken fried steak and biscuits and gravy. Marcia's is now one of my favorite local breakfast spots!

The food was delicious. I got the chicken fried steak omelet and it was one of the best omelets I've ever had. It's everything you would want in a greasy spoon diner. Service was really good too.
