We had a family dinner in the pub followed by a self-guided tour of the whole building. Our server was attentive and accurate in taking our orders. The food was excellent. I think what stands out is what an incredibly complex, historic and quaint structure this is, and how wonderfully McMenamin's has repurposed it to serve the public. Our experience was memorable.
It was great for a late breakfast. We love the cute little banquettes with a water view past the main bar. The food, coffee/tea and service are always good and they don't rush you out when you're done. Our server was excellent.
Took an hour to get out food. I think they forgot our order until I brought it up. When they brought our order out, I took a bite of my hamburger and blood poured out onto my plate. I like my hamburger cook done, it's not a steak. They didn't charge me for the meal, but didn't offer me anything either. will not eat there again. Spanish ball room was good, very good bartender staff, except having drinks on an empty stomach.
