I'm so glad this place has survived. The very best and most authentic sushi/ Japanese food experience in Tacoma. None of those Americanized, over the top, covered in sauces rolls here. First let me preface this by saying this is my first time coming back here after the new owners took over. Did the quality of the food change? Absolutely not! The sushi is still fantastic and the chef is well trained. It is not a place for “fast food” with low end results or low quality fish. 1st time for my wife & I. I had the shrimp tempura bento & the wife had the pork Katsura Danbury bowl. We were both impressed with the portions & the presentation. We shared the white tiger roll sushi. It's a little hole in the wall near Michael's on 38th, near the Tacoma Mall. We highly recommend it & will definitely be returning.
