Rice was salty. Corn tortilla was not good. Food was cold. Drinks took long after I ordered. We spent almost $200 on our meal and food took way too long.

The food was amazing. Our drinks got refilled regularly. The service was great. The atmosphere is fun and cantina-y. Literally the only downside was that we were cramped in a tiny booth - knocking knees and stepping on each others toes. At one point it was so uncomfortable I had to get up to "Take a lap" and get feeling back in my feet. **If you're larger than the average teenager, you might ask to be seated somewhere other than a booth.**
****update 2024***I was recently told that they have made adjustments to improve this issue

First and foremost we go here alot and love the food. We always get the flaming tequila fajitas. Went there on 9/8/2024 and we ordered what we love (flaming fajitas)and when we got our food it was super burnt. We wanted to let the manager know that the food was burnt for future reference so this kind of thing does not happen again to anyone else. In return we got charged full price for each of the burnt meals and some churros as a let's make it right for you resolution!
We are on the fence if we will be going back here or not again! Highly disappointed!!!!

Sad Horrible Bland flavorless we all got instant stomachaches at the restaurant. Very expensive very small portions Tacoma location at least. Threw away leftovers. Warning the Chicken mole is not an enchilada even though it’s in the menu as an enchilada. disgusting disappointing. Heard people leave say it’s to servers it was better 10years ago. Heard other tables complaining. Must improve

We have been to both the Tacoma and Tukwila locations. The difference is day and night. Every single time we have been at the Tacoma location, we’ve been extremely dissatisfied. Very poor customer service, small portions, cold & bland food. The drinks are disappointing . The vibes are just off.

The Tukwila location will greet and seat patrons quickly and with an upbeat personality. The portions are fair, the food is hot and it is perfectly seasoned. The drinks hit the spot. The overall ambiance has always been a positive experience.

Today, we decided to give the Tacoma location another try…welp. We walked out after being blatantly ignored. Headed to the Southcenter location now.

the service was horrible they moved us 3 times within 5 minute. they put us outside then told us to move then when we did they stated we weren't allowed to sit outside after they told us outside was public seating just to find out it was 21 and plus seating which they did not make clear as we walked in.

Parking: Staff is friendly and it's usually very busy so I recommend reservations!

Great atmosphere, I feel as if it's a little overpriced, but the food is good. Their chips and salsa is better than most Mexican restaurants.

Their food is delicious. The chip/salsa is the bomb. We’ve had dinner here multiple times, and have enjoyed it every time. This is one of the rare Mexican Restaurant that my Mexican-American wife enjoys. Recommend the mango habanero chicken or the grilled chicken fajitas. Last, their service is a little slow (but great) as it’s a large restaurant and they get really busy.

The food is delicious and our server Manuel was awesome! Plus, my husband had accidentally left his cellphone there when we left at close and Manuel stayed late so we could get it back that night! Always the best everything at Moctazumas! See you guys later!

My favorite Mexican restaurant in Tacoma been coming here for almost 15 years! I feel like there has been a small decline in quality of food, which is unfortunate. Still amazing and delicious just small noticeable changes.
