Dig the atmosphere and friendly staff, but they need some high-class hazy's like Great Notion on tap.

Sandwiches are the bomb

Awesome spot with tons of local taps. Came during lunch and it was very easy to grab a spot at the bar and try out some recommendations from the bartenders. They had a wide variety and some high quality stuff. Bottle shop was also super convenient for getting to see some other local options!

Nicely curated selection of beer always. I prefer vegetarian/vegan options and they do have a solid option for me but I know the rest of the food selections are quite solid t9.

the employees are not friendly at all.

Love the space and the bar, but this has got to be the dumbest organization method for beers in the cooler. There are probably 5 people who search for a beer by region - everybody else is looking for a certain style.
"What beers do you like?"
"I like a stout or a porter. You know, something dark." Or "Man, I stick to pilsners and lagers. I like them light." - every single normal human who buys beer.

"Oh, I'm an Oregon beer guy" - that one guy who will corner you at a house party and never let you leave.

Great sandwiches!

Nice little beer shop, very good selection and cozy ambience. I was able to find some very rare imported beers, and carry 'em out in a little build-your-own-six-pack holder. I kinda wish they had more full-sized bottles of things, though.

What a pain in the behind this place is. Parking is awful... You have to order food at the bar... you have to order beer at the bar... you have to get in line at the bar for absolutely everything.... straw... napkin.... drink... get in line... Oh, and don't ask for a flight... they don't do that unless you let THEM pick the beers...

I go for the chicken-bacon-bleu salad, because it's always a win! Service is polite and knowledgeable, even during a rush. Last time u went there was some sort of glitter berry cider, in tap that tasted like holiday magic in a glass!

This place is insane. Definitely my favorite beer and snack shop in Tacoma. Possibly in all of Washington. The people are kind and knowledgeable. The beer list changes all the time and they've always got great information on the board about the beers they have on tap. Their sandwiches are absolutely insane and there continuously rotating soups are excellent. Definitely give the "Beef and Beaches" a try! I'm hooked!!!

I oredered a Hefeweizen and was asked if I wanted a lemon. I replied yes and received it. The bar staff changed and I ordered another. I asked for a lemon and was told they did not have any. Bar tender was rude in her response.
